It's so humid! 6/15/15

Hey everybody!

Week one in the transfer is over and it was a pretty crazy week. So, I'm just going to give you a few of the highlights.

1.) Almost 2 months ago I helped this random lady off the bus with her stroller- she took our number and we ran home because it was almost 9:30pm. She called us this past week and told us to come over for lunch! She's from Morocco, Muslim, and speaks Arabic. It was awesome! Haha Sister Snow and I experienced what it would be like to serve a mission in Morocco for a little while. Even though New Yorkers aren't super friendly, I'm glad, because I'd gain a lot of weight in Morocco! She fed us SO much and said "in my country, if you don't eat my food.. It means you don't like me". Her name is Madihe (Mah-di-ha). She's adorable and has a little baby named Fate (Fah-tie).

2.) We got referrals from members. Yesterday at church four different members came up to us with referrals! Not just people's information, but also set appointments at their homes for us to teach them. So that was awesome! It was a big blessing at the end of a long week, so we really appreciated it. 😀

3.) Sister Snow and I are having a lot of fun. Haha but I think we know each other a little too well. We were talking about it, by the time this transfer is over we will have spent 7 & 1/2 months together for 24/7. That's a lot of time..

Sister Snow is great.

I love you all, Sister Tenney

These pics aren't very cute, but I wanted you to see our Moroccan friends
